With a background in Computational Mathematics (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil), Sam initiated his professional path by executing the Mathematical Modeling (Finite Differences Model / MODFLOW) of contamination diffusion in soil and aquifers, and its Toxicological Risk Assessment (Domenico Model / RBCA Tier 2) from human exposure.
Later he shifted his career path to work with the adoption of Machine Learning (Reinforcement Learning / Multi-Armed Bandit) and Econometric Modeling (High Frequency Trading / Real Time Bidding / Vickrey Auction) in digital businesses.
Since then, he has specialized in the management processes for creating and providing complex services and solutions.
In his free time, Sam is always contemplating innovative solutions to tap into individuals’ most basic needs.
