US Laboratory Technician

US Laboratory Technician

Location: Sacramento, US

We are looking for a highly driven and motivated individual to work with the Laboratory team as a laboratory technician. The role involves working within a cross-functional team of microbiologists, genetics, agronomists, and bioinformatics.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Wet lab sample processing, including manual and robot DNA isolation, library preparation and high-throughput sequencing machine operation
  • Accurately create, organize, and maintain laboratory data
  • Support the general laboratory management, including equipment maintenance, lab cleaning, sample storage, and suppliers/reagents stocks
  • Follow GLP and security standards

Qualification & Skills:

  • Professional qualification or degree in areas related to biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or equivalent areas
  • Experience with several lab techniques, including, but not limited to, pipetting, DNA isolation, PCR, and gel electrophoresis
  • Experience in high-throughput sequencing is an advantage
  • Good English communication skills, both written and oral
