R&D junior project consultant

Location: Europe (remote job)

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Innovation team as R&D junior project consultant. This role will directly report to the Innovation Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proposal preparation for research, development and innovation projects both at national and international level
  • Participate in the analysis of research, development and innovation project expenses
  • Writing supporting technical reports
  • Analyze impact of baseline ideas in costs/benefits as baseline for implementation decisions
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

Job Competencies & Personal Attributes:

  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to “zoom out” (vision, strategy, big picture) and “zoom in” (focus, prioritize and problem solve)
  • Consultative, entrepreneurial approach to problem solving
  • Passion for innovation, agriculture and technology.
  • Creative, commercial, and analytical thinking and work style
  • Drive and passion and comfortable communicating with impact and possess deep knowledge and experience with design thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge about the business
  • Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams to implement high-priority deliverables
  • Insight into business and technology in different industries and disciplines, “to know it all.”
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish
  • You solve problems with a pragmatic approach balancing best practices and speed.
  • You are a team player willing to share information and coordinate with your team

  • Prior experience as an Innovation Consultant
  • Lean start-up and other innovation methodology expertise
  • Track record of high achievements, ambition, deal closing, a can-do "make it happen" attitude.
